St. John School School is seeking a long-term substitute teacher formiddle school start date mid-November through June. Responsibilities include teaching ELA/Literature and Religion.

The ideal candidate will

be a practicing Catholic
demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education
possess excellent writing and communication skills
understand the developmental stages of middle school students
build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues
have experience in aligning classroom instruction with state and national standards and with outcomes-based assessment
demonstrate effective lesson planning with a commitment to teaching critical thinking in a mixed ability classroom
demonstrate competency in integrating different forms of technology
collaborate with other middle school teachers and administration

St. John School in located in North Seattle in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood.
Pro-rated salary range $47834-$56251Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications
