Job Summary

This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable deep-diving into reconciliations as they are partnering with cross-functional teams to keep the business moving forward. Youll oversee financial reporting inventory accounting and month-end close while also helping streamline processes improve systems and support growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly and year-end close ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant reporting.
- Own inventory accounting costing and valuation across multiple channels.
- Prepare budget-to-actual variance analysis and deliver insights to leadership.
- Manage payroll sales & use tax compliance and fixed asset accounting.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations production and e-commerce teams.
- Support treasury cash management and banking relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems.
- Provide support for audits tax filings and ad hoc financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Accounting Finance or related field.
- CPA is a huge plus.
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience (retail fashion or manufacturing a plus).
- Strong command of US GAAP inventory accounting and cost analysis.
- ERP experience (NetSuite QuickBooks or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUPs modeling).
- Detail-oriented organized and analytical with a proactive mindset.
- Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced collaborative environments.
