Job Summary
Description
Handles facilitates and / or coordinates material shipping receiving and processing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials / products. Maintains and updates the purchase order system as shipments are received cancelled or back ordered Ensures documentation is up-to-date and reflective of material orders deliveries storage and distribution.
Responsibilities
Provides Shipping & Receiving support duties within a site or location. Receives incoming deliveries from carriers. Verifies incoming delivery purchase orders against records in the database. Delivers materials to intended recipients and obtains appropriate signatures. Compares identifying information with bills of lading invoices purchase orders and other records. Maintains and updates reports and required documentation.
Qualifications
Education or equivalent work experience required. Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Shipping and Receiving. Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
