Job Description
*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master position! This is a 6 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more technical project teams within a financial services organization.
- Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
- Ensure Agile principles and Scrum best practices are followed across technical and non-technical teams.
- Remove impediments identify risks and help drive continuous improvement across the team.
- Collaborate with product owners business stakeholders and technical leads to ensure clear backlog prioritization and alignment with business objectives.
- Apply project management fundamentalstimelines deliverables status reportingalongside Agile practices.
- Support multiple concurrent technical projects with a strong sense of accountability and execution.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence to track project progress documentation and team communication.
- Work in hybrid environments involving cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and communication.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Previous experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to coach teams on Agile principles.
- Experience managing or leading technical project teams.
- Strong background in classic project management (status tracking planning documentation) combined with Agile Scrum practices.
- Experience in financial services banking or mortgage industries is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in JIRA Confluence and MS Office Suite.
- Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS Azure).
- Excellent communication facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Go-getter attitude and self-motivated mindset.
Pay Range:$50-$58/hr
