Job Summary

*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master position! This is a 6 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY.

What Youll Be Doing:

Serve as Scrum Master for one or more technical project teams within a financial services organization.
Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Ensure Agile principles and Scrum best practices are followed across technical and non-technical teams.
Remove impediments identify risks and help drive continuous improvement across the team.
Collaborate with product owners business stakeholders and technical leads to ensure clear backlog prioritization and alignment with business objectives.
Apply project management fundamentalstimelines deliverables status reportingalongside Agile practices.
Support multiple concurrent technical projects with a strong sense of accountability and execution.
Utilize JIRA and Confluence to track project progress documentation and team communication.
Work in hybrid environments involving cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and communication.

What Youll Need to Have:

Previous experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to coach teams on Agile principles.
Experience managing or leading technical project teams.
Strong background in classic project management (status tracking planning documentation) combined with Agile Scrum practices.
Experience in financial services banking or mortgage industries is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in JIRA Confluence and MS Office Suite.
Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS Azure).
Excellent communication facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Go-getter attitude and self-motivated mindset.

Pay Range:$50-$58/hr
