The University of Miami Hospitalhas an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (U) in theCardiology Medical department at the UTower Staff Nurse is a registered professional nurse who prescribes coordinates evaluates and delivers patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient and family teaching.

A BSN graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid State of Florida RN license andone (1) years of Medical Surgical experience. Must have current BLS and ACLS certification. Any combination of relevant education work experience and/or certifications will be considered.

Patient safety is a top priority. As a result during the Influenza (the flu) season (September through April) the University of Miami School of Medicine requires all employees who provide ongoing services to patients work in a location (all Hospitals and clinics) where patient care is provided or work in patient care or clinical care areas to have an annual influenza vaccination. Failure to meet this requirement will result in rescinding or termination of employment.
