Job Description
We are looking for you as an Automotive Key Account Manager/Client Engagement Manager (m/w/d) as future team member who works with our clients (OEM & Tier1s) to innovate on the total system solution!

You will be expected to partner with our automotive clients and help them grow their business through a process of co-creation of value. Our mission is to support our clients freedom to innovate through a strong trusted partnership.
As a client engagement manager you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the clients thinking and build consensus for Microchips solutions co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position:
- Manage and expand strategic automotive accounts ensuring long-term success and satisfaction
- Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchips solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
- Contribute and participate within a global team environment to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across clients divisions and geographical locations
- Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients
- Build strong partnerships with automotive clients by presenting Microchips unique business insights and cutting-edge technologies
- Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clients
- Develop compelling business cases to initiate contact with prospects in early sales funnel stages
- Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges

Requirements/Qualifications:
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding and background in Automotive Industry with track record in the OEM/Tier1 environment
- Good understanding of Automotive market dynamics and long-term industry experience
- Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
- Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
- Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions.
- Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our clients business and system requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity decision-making and customer engagement
Qualifications And Experience
- Masters/Bachelors degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Business fluent language skills in German and English
- Relevant automotive market knowledge and industry experience
