About the Role
Provide phlebotomy services for the VA Central California Health Care System. Work within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the Fresno VA Medical Center.

Schedule

8-hour rotating shifts
Morning evening and overnight
Includes weekends and federal holidays

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
Process and transport blood urine and body fluids
Support testing in chemistry hematology microbiology immunology and toxicology
Maintain accurate records and follow safety standards
Provide direct and indirect patient care

Qualifications

Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
Current AHA BLS (ACLS if you have it.)
At least 6 months hospital or clinic venipuncture experience
Ability to read write and communicate in English
