Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in art dance music therapeutic recreation orrecreation with a major in therapeutic recreation from an accredited college oruniversity.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with both adolescents and adults who have mental health illness diagnoses.
- Experience in TJC and CMS documentation standards for Therapeutic Recreation Services.
- Experience supervising other therapeutic recreators in psychiatric facilities.
LICENSES REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
1. Employees in this classificationmay be assigned duties which require the operation of an automobile. Employeesassigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operatorslicense valid in the State of Maryland.
