Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead of Business Development & Digital Revenuewho will play a pivotal role in recruiting training and developing business development account executives who are new to the media industry. The ideal candidate will not only have a proven track record of driving new businessbut also the leadership skills to mentor coach and build a strong sustainable sales team. This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of advertising professionals while driving revenue growth across multiple platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recruit onboard and train business development account executives equipping them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in media and digital advertising.
    • Incorporate structured training programs sales playbooks and performance benchmarks tailored to new-to-industry sellers.
    • Provide ongoing coaching mentorship and professional development to ensure team members build confidence expertise and strong client relationships.
    • Lead the team in identifying prospecting and closing new business opportunities across broadcast and digital platforms.
    • Foster a positive performance-driven culture that emphasizes accountability collaboration and professional growth.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging digital solutions to position the team and station as trusted marketing partners.
    • Track and evaluate team performance providing actionable feedback and strategies for improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 2 years of sales experience in media advertising or digital platforms
    • Ability to train and develop entry-level talent into successful account executives.
    • Strong understanding of media sales digital advertising products (OTT/CTV programmatic social search display video) and integrated marketing strategies.
    • Excellent coaching communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment while maintaining focus on long-term team development.
