Key Responsibilities
- Recruit onboard and train business development account executives equipping them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in media and digital advertising.
- Incorporate structured training programs sales playbooks and performance benchmarks tailored to new-to-industry sellers.
- Provide ongoing coaching mentorship and professional development to ensure team members build confidence expertise and strong client relationships.
- Lead the team in identifying prospecting and closing new business opportunities across broadcast and digital platforms.
- Foster a positive performance-driven culture that emphasizes accountability collaboration and professional growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging digital solutions to position the team and station as trusted marketing partners.
- Track and evaluate team performance providing actionable feedback and strategies for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of sales experience in media advertising or digital platforms
- Ability to train and develop entry-level talent into successful account executives.
- Strong understanding of media sales digital advertising products (OTT/CTV programmatic social search display video) and integrated marketing strategies.
- Excellent coaching communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment while maintaining focus on long-term team development.
