Position Overview
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating monitoring and maintaining production machinery used in the manufacturing of rare earth materials and related components. This role ensures consistent product quality through adherence to established processes procedures and safety standards. The Machine Operator will work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to support efficient production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor a variety of production and processing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform routine quality checks to verify product specifications and ensure process accuracy.
Set up adjust and troubleshoot machinery to maintain optimal performance.
Conduct basic maintenance cleaning and inspections to prevent equipment downtime.
Accurately record production data equipment performance and any deviations from standard operations.
Follow all safety and environmental guidelines to maintain a safe workplace.
Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues.
Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with equipment upgrades or process changes as needed.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial or manufacturing machinery.
Basic understanding of production processes safety standards and quality control.
Ability to read and follow SOPs production schedules and technical instructions.
Experience with preventive maintenance or minor equipment repairs preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
310 years of experience operating or maintaining machinery in a production setting.
Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights weekends or overtime as needed.
