Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time with the exception of required in-person training sessions providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity supports work-life integration and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Work Schedule:

  • Tuesday Saturday: 4:00PM 12:30AM PST: Includes shift differential
  • Sunday Thursday: 12:00PM 8:30PM PST: Includes shift differential

We operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days out of the year. This is a 24-hour call center shifts include weekends and holidays.

Training Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm PST fully virtual for the first 3 weeks of employment.

The Crisis Clinician Leadposition includes two primary roles: Direct Call Handling and a Supportive Role.

Direct Call Handling:

  • When managersare present on shift and able to comfortably run shift alone the Crisis Clinician Leadwillhandle calls andengage in screening and assessingcallerssimilarly to non-clinical call takers.
  • Crisis Clinician Leadwill adhere toestablishedprotocols for conducting telephonic intervention and de-escalation whiledeterminingimmediate actions required during call interactions.
  • Provide active listening engaging withcallersand developing rapport.

Supportive Role:

  • In the absence of managers Crisis Clinician Leadare responsible fortheir shift. Theysupport non-clinical call takers by staffing cases with thembyproviding guidance and clinical recommendations to handle cases effectively.
  • Theymonitorcall volumes track staffavailabilityand call statuses.
  • Crisis Clinician Leadmay also performadditionaltasks asassigned by their direct manager.

How you will make an impact:

  • Handleinbound callstextsor chatsfromindividualsin crisis whoare inneedofsupport.
  • Serve as a key resource and mentor to Clinical & Referral Specialists.
  • Assistswith more complex cases & calls.
  • Manage shift by providing support consultation to call takers in the absence of Manager.
  • When a BH Manager is not scheduled Crisis Clinician Lead will performadditionaltasks during the shift including but not limited tomonitoringincoming call volume overseeing call center metrics and performance and escalating reportable issues toManager IIas necessary.
  • Perform assessments while using clinical judgement to discern presence and acuity of risk to the safety of the individual or others.
  • Use information provided by the caller and obtained during the screenings&assessments toaccurately understand the individuals needs and develop a plan of action in collaboration with the individual.
  • Completetimely andaccuratedocumentation of interactionsin accordance withcriteria.
  • Provides linkage follow-up as directed to assure individual accessed services.
  • Coordinatewith other agenciesorganizationsand individuals toensureoptimaluse of resources services and natural support systems.
  • Assistin developing andmaintainingresource and referraldatabase.
  • Meet weekly or bi-monthly with Manager I & Manager IIs for 1:1s but also to discuss call taker performance and concerns.
  • Lead monthly de-briefing sessions.

MinimumRequirements:

  • Requires MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing;minimum of3years of clinical experience in social work counseling with broad range of experience with complex psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Active unrestricted independent clinicalNevada licensesuch as RNLCSWLCPLMFTto practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure inNevadaisrequired.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselorisstrongly preferred.
  • Call center experience is strongly preferred.
  • Crisis-relatedexperience is strongly preferred
