As a Senior Presales Platform Architect at Boomi you will play a pivotal role in shaping solution strategy and driving technical wins across our most complex and strategic opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders partnering with account teams to articulate vision validate architecture and guide customers on how Boomi transforms their business. This role requires not just technical depth but also the executive presence business acumen and influence skills to shape customer decisions and establish Boomi as the integration leader of choice.

What youll do:

  • Own technical strategy for strategic accounts partnering with Sales Leaders and Lead Sales Engineers to drive technical qualification discovery and architectural validation throughout the sales cycle.
  • Shape enterprise architectures by translating customer business outcomes into prescriptive solution designs highlighting performance scalability security and governance best practices.
  • Deliver executive-level engagement: lead CxO workshops boardroom-style presentations and value-oriented architecture sessions that connect Boomi capabilities to measurable business impact.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts and executive demos creating compelling solution assets that showcase technical differentiation and accelerate buying decisions.
  • Architect reference solutions leveraging cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP OCI) and modern integration patterns positioning Boomi within complex enterprise ecosystems.
  • Embed Boomi into CI/CD and DevOps strategies advising on enterprise deployment lifecycle management and governance frameworks.
  • Publish and evangelize best practices: produce architecture assets whitepapers and reusable frameworks that elevate Boomis technical brand in the field.
  • Influence roadmap and strategy by serving as the fields voice of the customer channeling insights back into Product Engineering and Marketing.

The experience you bring:

  • 1015 years of progressive technical experience in IT integration or software engineering with significant time in customer-facing presales solution architecture or sales engineering roles.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise integration and architecture conversations with senior business and IT executives.
  • Expert-level knowledge of integration platforms (Boomi AtomSphere or comparable) middleware technologies and enterprise integration patterns (ESB messaging APIs ETL event-driven architectures).
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud (AWS Azure GCP OCI) SaaS architectures and enterprise applications (CRM ERP HCM SCM etc.).
  • Hands-on fluency with databases (SQL modeling tuning) messaging (JMS MQ) and development/scripting (Java JavaScript Groovy).
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Bitbucket) to support enterprise readiness discussions.
  • Formal training or certification in TOGAF ArchiMate SAFe COBIT Zachman or Design Thinking frameworks.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills able to engage both technical teams and C-level leaders with equal credibility.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $201K - $251K (inclusive of commission). Base compensation is determined by various factors including geographic location and the candidates knowledge skills and experience This position is remote-friendly and as such final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills experience and geographic location.
