Job Summary
Hey there! Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students lives Weve got just the gig for you in Gadsden!
Were on the hunt for a dedicated SLPA to join our school-based team. Youll be working closely with children helping them improve their communication skills and supporting their educational journey. Your role will include assisting the lead Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans conducting therapy sessions and monitoring student progress.
What youll be doing:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support student goals.
- Document student progress and maintain records.
What you bring:
- Associates degree in a related field or completion of an SLPA program.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Alabama.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
