We are currently seeking a Machine Operator for our Phoenix Arizona facility.

Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating setting up and maintaining manual and automated equipment and processes to produce finished products that meet both customer and company requirements. This role requires continual evaluation of the production process making corrections and suggestions to improve safety quality and efficiency. Operators play a key role in maintaining a safe clean and productive environment.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Support Sofidel Americas Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to ensure a safe sanitary and hygienic workplace.

  • Follow all health safety and environmental policies including correct use of PPE.

  • Immediately address unsafe conditions and communicate concerns to management.

  • Never bypass or disable safety devices on equipment.

  • Participate in accident investigations when required.

  • Understand and apply customer specifications to ensure finished goods meet requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits of equipment to confirm safety systems and guards are in place.

  • Perform quality checks in alignment with company standards ensuring accuracy and integrity.

  • Report non-conforming product to supervisors and management promptly.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize contamination risks.

  • Apply LEAN manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and optimize productivity.

  • Set up equipment to achieve optimal performance.

  • Inspect monitor and maintain machinery in good condition including performing basic maintenance.

  • Submit work orders for issues that require further repair or cannot be immediately corrected.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of general manufacturing or production experience required.
