DescriptionUSF Health is a regional branch of the University of South Florida that houses the academic medical center comprised of Morsani College of Medicine College of Public Health Taneja College of Pharmacy College of Nursing and School of Physical Therapy. Central Human Resources (CHR) consists of multiple areas of expertise including Talent Acquisition Benefits Classification & Compensation; Employee and Labor Relations; Continuous Process Improvement HRIS HR Business Partners and Talent and Learning Management. USF Human Resources is embarking on a multi-year transformation focused on a Human Resources strategy that elevates our people so that the University and culture support a competitive workforce advantage in line with our strategic plan.
USF Health Office of Human Resources strategically partners with CHR to provide services programs and support to USF Health team members while fostering a positive work culture one in which employees collaborate with one another feel comfortable sharing their concerns with management and feel appreciated for their important workan ideal environment for reducing employee turnover and encouraging collaboration.
Responsibilities- Provides support to managers and employees on human resources-related matters ensuring alignment with corporate policies goals and objectives.
- Participates in employee orientations and organizational development workforce or succession planning training or performance management strategies as developed by the organization.
- Leads creates and/or supports project initiatives and deliverables.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsAssociates degree -OR- equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of related HR experience -OR- HR Internship experience.
