Job Summary
High School diploma or GED and five (5) years related experience required. Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern/extern by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required. Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $47665.00 - $77455.00 / year

Job Description:
To analyze and interpret various forms of data in order to create compiled reports spreadsheets or other forms as each project requires. To create and maintain working spreadsheets for 340B product usage and purchase data in an effort to maximize 340B savings. To assist with contract management verification and compliance. To coordinate special projects as assigned.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Develop execute and document self-audits of the 340B process to monitor compliance.
- Review and monitor points of service where 340B participation occurs to ensure policy and procedure compliance.
- Monitor utilization records and 340B purchasing accounts to ensure that software tools are working properly and accurately.
- Evaluate patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients in hospital mixed-use areas and clinics and retail pharmacies by reviewing patient records insurance plans and hospital status.
- Assist in maintaining 340B split-billing software integrity and maintenance.
- Assisting in review and troubleshooting pharmacy billing issues and ensuring that adequate checks are reviewed to prevent errors.
- Daily manual medication charge posting
