Job Summary
Purpose of Position:
- To repair install and adjust all refrigeration equipment. To operate safely and efficiently the ammonia refrigeration system and related equipment according to the plant Process Safety Management Program.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must be at workstation on time with all work apparel clean sanitized and with all required safety equipment.
- Must obey all safety USDA HACCP and plant rules and regulations.
- Must know shop mathematics able to interpret drawings and able to use required tools.
- Must be able to work around Anhydrous Ammonia.
- Perform routine mainteance on; Ammonia compressors air system drying equipment air system controls.
Qualifications :
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and climb.
- Must have good communication skills both written and oral.
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
- Must be able to work in a controlled environment.
- Must be able to work in high and confined spaces.
- Must be able to pass Hazmat physical and Pulmonary Test yearly to stay in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
