About the opportunity
As a Junior Data Analyst in the Marketing Data team you will be a key contributor to our mission of building a data-driven culture. You will work with a cross-functional team of data professionals Data Analysts Analytics Engineers and Data Scientists to provide valuable reliable data insights that empower marketing teams to make informed decisions. You will have the opportunity to continuously improve your technical and domain knowledge while supporting the team with foundational data analytics tasks.
In this role you will:
Contribute to a Single Source of Truth: Assist in data preparation and cleaning tasks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data used for marketing channel reporting as well as for advanced models like Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Lifetime Value Models (LTV).
Deliver Actionable Insights: Support the creation and maintenance of reports dashboards and visualizations on our BI platform to help marketing teams understand campaign performance customer behavior and market trends.
Support Data-Driven Decisions: Help track key marketing performance metrics and conduct planned or ad-hoc exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns. This will enable the marketing team to optimize customer engagement and conversion rates.
Practice Truth-Telling and Quality Assurance: Actively assist in verifying the accuracy of reports and data outputs to ensure we provide the most reliable insights. Maintain documentation of analyses methodologies and key learnings.
Drive Personal Growth: Proactively seek opportunities to improve your technical skills with a focus on SQL and expand your understanding of marketing analytics.
What you need to be successful:
You have a strong quantitative background with 1 years of experience in a field like Marketing Product or Business Analytics or in a role that requires a deep application of statistics (e.g. economics mathematics or a related field).
You have proven and foundational work experience with SQL and are familiar with the Python language.
You have proven experience with descriptive statistics and a solid understanding of statistical principles.
You are a curious organized and self-motivated individual who is passionate about using data to solve business problems and make a real impact.
You have a strong bias for action.
You have good Excel/Spreadsheets foundations and are familiar with Data Visualization principles and platforms (e.g. Metabase Looker etc.).
