Position Summary:
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies for the apparel lines produced by the company. This role involves working closely with product development sales marketing and creative teams to drive brand awareness increase market share and ensure consistent brand positioning across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the apparel industry consumer trends and brand-building techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Brand Strategy Development:
- Lead the development and execution of the brand strategy for the companys apparel lines.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (marketing product development and sales teams) to ensure brand alignment across all business functions.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends competitive landscape and brand opportunities.
2) Product Development and Positioning:
- Work closely with the product development team to define and refine the product assortment to meet market needs.
- Ensure that products are aligned with the brand identity and that the positioning resonates with target customers.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
3) Brand Awareness and Marketing Campaigns:
- Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral (brochures online content social media posts advertisements etc.) to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
4) Market Research and Consumer Insights:
- Conduct consumer and market research to identify trends customer preferences and competitor activities.
- Analyze sales data and other relevant metrics to assess the performance of the brand in the market.
5) Brand Consistency:
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels packaging and communications.
- Manage and maintain brand guidelines to safeguard brand integrity in all consumer touchpoints.
6) Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the brands marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to ensure campaign success.
- Track and report on spending to ensure campaigns stay within budget and meet performance goals.
7) Sales and Performance Analysis:
- Work with the sales team to track the performance of apparel products in the market.
- Provide strategic recommendations to drive sales and improve brand performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in brand management preferably within the apparel or fashion industry.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of apparel trends consumer behavior and the competitive landscape.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful brand strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools/software.
