Roles and Responsibilities

• Support standardize and improve manufacturing processes for Aluminide and T800 coatings as well as braze operations on turbine components and related hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Materials Maintenance and Industrialization) to drive process improvements and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards specifications and internal quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including process instructions work instructions and control plans.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations or non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze process metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and training for production personnel on best practices in coating and braze operations.
• Interface with suppliers and customers as needed to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety/5S quality delivery and cost.
• Participate in capital equipment selection installation and commissioning for coating and braze operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Materials Science Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field ORhigh school diploma/GED and 4 years experience in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using relevant software tools

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
• This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova Greenville SC Garlington site

Desired Characteristics

• Familiarity with vacuum and atmospheric coating processes thermal spray and heat treatment techniques.
• Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement.

Pay Transparency

For U.S. based candidates only for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements the base pay range for this position is $74800..00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety offactors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for a5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on or after September 30 2025.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
