We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Gadsden. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students by helping them overcome speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess diagnose and treat speech language and communication disorders in a school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of speech and language services.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on speech and language-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to staying current with best practices in speech-language therapy.
