As a project engineer you will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
Serve a s a primary day to day customer point of contact communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
Work as an extension of the customers management team and provide contract compliance and fulfilment.
Maintains excellence written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned
Develop detailed water or wastewater treatment system process design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and provide technical support to customers during project tendering such as technical information and clarifications
Prepare commercial & technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions.
Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.
Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments new products new research new concepts etc in the industry.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in chemical or environmental engineering
At least 4-5 years of industry experience (Water or Waste water treatment)
At least 2 years of experience in Project management (eg. project coordination documentation and planning)
Proficient in water / wastewater system process design or equipment sizing (eg. RO projection software)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic & challenging environment
