As part of our expanding technology teams we are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative and diverse engineering group. You will play a key role in guaranteeing the reliability scalability and performance of our cloud platforms and mission-critical services. Working closely with cross-functional teams you will drive best practices automation and continuous improvements in our production environments in line with our commitment to operational excellence and outstanding client experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain monitoring alerting and observability tools to guarantee system reliability.
- Maintain consistent insight into system performance and health status.
- Address system incidents and service interruptions through thorough investigation and resolution.
- Engage in root cause analysis and help document findings for post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate across teams to reduce downtime and avoid repeated problems.
- Automate deployments configurations and routine operational tasks to enhance system efficiency.
- Support release procedures and monitor systems throughout deployment phases.
- Work closely with development QA and operations teams to optimize delivery workflows.
Requirements
- English fluency at C1 level with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) DevOps or a similar role.
- Expertise in managing both Windows and Linux server environments.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms with AWS knowledge being crucial.
- Practical skills with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Proficient in scripting using languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with version control systems including Git.
- Knowledge of monitoring logging and alerting solutions like Prometheus Grafana or ELK.
- Understanding of incident problem and change management frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to mentor peers and share expertise.
- Excellent time management communication and documentation capabilities.
