Im currently supporting a leading aerospace precision engineering company who are looking forCNC Setter Operators(both Turning and Milling) to join their growing team. These are full-time permanent positions offering excellent job security and development opportunities.
The Role:
- ForCNC Turning: Set and operate CNC lathes withFanuc controls.
- ForCNC Milling: Set and operate 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines withHeidenhain controls.
- Producehigh-complexity aerospace componentsto tight tolerances across a variety of materials.
- Ensure parts meetquality and customer specificationsat all times.
- Work to planned set/run times and support continuous improvement.
- Use a range ofmanual inspection tools(micrometers verniers plug gauges) to check work.
- Ensure all route cards drawings and materials are followed correctly.
- Participate in SQDCP and progress meetings contributing to quality and process improvements.
- Support delivery schedule adherence ensuring work is completedon time and in full.
What Youll Need:
- Experience setting and operating CNC machines (Turning with Fanuc / Milling with Heidenhain).
- Strong background in producingcomplex precision components.
- Ability to read and interpretengineering drawingsand work to tight tolerances.
- Hands-on inspection skills using micrometers verniers and other measuring tools.
- Good understanding of quality standards within precision/aerospace engineering.
- Aerospace experience (desirable but not essential).
Hours & Benefits:
- 37 hours per week (MonThu 07:3016:00 Fri 07:3012:30).
