The Tool Crib Attendant/Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate perpetual inventory of tools and equipment ensuring they are properly stored maintained and issued to workers and keeping the tool crib and adjacent shop floor area clean and organized. This role requires real-time transacting and tracking of inventory levels inspecting tools for defects conducting cycle counts and all pursuant to ensuring and maintaining an accurate inventory. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills to support the operational needs of the plant. This position is also responsible for cutting preparing and issuing materials to the production floor staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Cutting and issuing material
Receiving material
Moving material to required area
Prints data sheets when necessary
Receives tooling and barrels of oil
Returns tooling back into inventory
Conducts cycle counts
Collaborates with procurement to determine when product stock is needed
Releasing and kitting work orders when necessary
Updates and maintains our inventory system when necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum 2 years experience as a Tool Crib Attendant or Inventory Control Clerk
Forklift experience required
Previous experience in production and quality control methods (ISO9001 AS9100 etc.)
Computer skills (MS Office) and experience in MRP/ERP systems desirable
Able to perform basic arithmetic operations and understand measurements
Knowledge of CNC machine tooling
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Move/Lift/Carry up to 45 lbs. with help from handling equipment
Standing up to 8 hours per day
Reach with hands and arms
