Sourcing Specialist Heavy Machinery Equipment (HME) & Mechanical Parts
Were looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. If you have a strong background in sourcing HME and mechanical parts this is your chance to make a real impact.
The Role
As our Sourcing Specialist youll be the link between our operations and supplierssourcing negotiating and securing the right parts at the right price without compromising on quality. Youll work with OEMs aftermarket vendors and internal teams to keep the supply chain moving optimise stock levels and support production schedules.
What Youll Do
- Source HME and mechanical components in line with procurement strategy and governance standards.
- Partner with operational teams to understand technical specs and advise on fit-for-purpose or approved alternatives.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and delivery timelines.
- Manage purchase orders with accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with purchasing logistics inventory and warehouse teams to balance stock levels and reduce supply risks.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance against KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction innovation and continuous improvement.
What Youll Bring
- Solid procurement experience ideally in HME mechanical or industrial parts.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and match them to sourcing options.
- A proactive solutions-focused approach to cost and process optimisation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of procurement frameworks compliance and governance.
