Job Summary
Salary: $110000 - 150000/year
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with strong PCB design expertise to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing simulating and validating complex printed circuit boards using Altium Designer and Mentor Graphics (e.g. PADS Xpedition). Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance electronic hardware. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on challenging designs involving high-speed signals power management embedded systems or mixed-signal layouts
Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-layer PCBs for analog digital and mixed-signal circuits.
- Use Altium Designer and Mentor Graphics (PADS/Xpedition) for schematic capture layout and library management.
- Perform component selection signal integrity analysis and design rule checks (DRC/ERC).
- Develop detailed schematics and BOMs based on system-level requirements.
- Collaborate with firmware mechanical and manufacturing teams for full product integration.
- Participate in hardware bring-up debugging and validation using oscilloscopes logic analyzers etc.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability (DFM) testability (DFT) and cost.
- Work with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors to release and support production builds.
- Support EMI/EMC testing and certification processes where applicable.
- Generate and maintain design documentation including schematics layout files test procedures and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Participate in design reviews failure analysis and root cause investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in electronic hardware design with a focus on PCB layout and schematic capture.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and Mentor Graphics tools (PADS/Xpedition).
- Solid understanding of electronic components circuit design and signal integrity principles.
- Experience with debugging and testing PCBs in lab environments.
$110000 - $150000 a year
