Description
This is a UI/UX Design position. Candidates in this position shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web this role the UI/UX designer shall be responsible for the visual layout styling of web pages making key decisions in color typography and iconography in component design.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Masters degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity or bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity or seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.

Required skills:
- Basic understanding using the Linux CLI
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma Adobe XD and Sketch
- Strong understanding of UI layout principles design systems responsive design principles and concepts
- Solid understanding of color theory typography iconography and visual hierarchy
- Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS
- A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX design artifacts
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA Confluence)
- Familiar with Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
