Key Objective:
This regional actuarial role is innovative and brings forth new opportunities to create and implement groundbreaking solutions to current issues. It focuses on delivering reliable actuarial valuation results as well as performing impact analysis on the changes. This role requires collaboration with both local and regional teams and allows you to develop international experience in actuarial valuations. It is key for this role to participate in the regional-wide initiatives to promote the development and implementation of actuarial best practices in APAC.
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the monthly USGAAP/LDTI valuation control and analysis
- Perform policy data management and the generation of model point files for valuation
- Participate in the development and review of the valuation process for IFRS 17
- Actively contribute ideas to modernize the workflow and assist in the actuarial process enhancement projects
- Cooperate and work closely with colleagues in India Hong Kong Thailand and other countries where Chubb operates
- Provide support on business analysis ad-hoc projects and other duties as required
Qualifications
- Actuarial Associate with at least 2-3 years of experience Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of ACCESS EXCEL VBA PROPHET and DCS program
- Knowledge of PHYTON or R is a plus
- Fluent in speaking and written English
- A team player with good interpersonal skills able to work independently and under pressure
- Flexible in working schedule to meet tight valuation timeline
