Responsibilities:
Enter and follow up on orders in the Transport Management System (TMS).
Collaborate with global and local Operations (OPS) teams to resolve shipping issues.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers monitoring tracking and updating them on shipment status.
Partner with the Sales team to exceed customer service expectations.
Ensure accurate shipment pricing to enter charges properly and on time in TMS.
Edit and maintain shipments (exports/imports) in TMS and distributions.
Perform route reviews with the OPS team focusing on the selection and combination of transport methods (aircraft vehicles).
Record instructions in the system for the OPS team to proceed with pick-up and delivery of client shipments.
Book and pre-advise shipments within required timeframes.
Monitor shipments during transport and respond flexibly to deviations from the plan.
Review system notes frequently and manage pre-advised shipments.
Verify scheduled departure or arrival times of flights (Post Flight checks).
Recognize important information (e.g. station emails rental lists OPS memos) and act immediately.
Work safely in compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. International Air Transport Association IATA) and applicable laws.
Use and maintain available technical tools (WorldStar OpStar Biostar Organice Flight Monitor and TMS).
Provide clear instructions to OPS for correct shipment handling.
Communicate with national and international World Courier and AeroLink stations.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors and carriers (airlines handling agents customs suppliers etc.).
Comply with requirements of the Ministry of Communications for handling imported and exported shipments under Postal Traffic.
Meet the requirements of the Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN).
Perform other duties as trained and required.

Education:
Degree in International Trade International Business or related field from an accredited institution.
Work Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong command of English (written and oral).
Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively to improve satisfaction.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong technical organizational planning and teamwork skills.
