Job Description

Location: Millsboro Delaware
Industry: Food & Beverages (Poultry Processing)
Job Type: Full Time

Are you an experienced Process Engineer to join a leading organization in the protein processing this mid-level role you will play a critical part in optimizing plant operations leading lean manufacturing initiatives and supporting cross-functional efficiency improvements. This is a high-impact position ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced production environments and are passionate about driving measurable change.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement strategies to optimize output.
  • Collaborate with operations maintenance engineering and quality teams to streamline workflows.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation SOPs and technical reports.
  • Troubleshoot recurring plant issues and implement sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to develop and revise facility layouts and process diagrams.
  • Work in both office and plant environments including areas such as feed mills hatcheries and wastewater treatment.


What Were Looking For

  • 2 years experience in a poultry or protein processing plant in an Industrial/Process Engineering role (required).
  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
  • 35 years experience in process/industrial engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and process optimization tools.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and re-design complex systems in a production environment.
