Water Hygiene Technician

Summary:

NSI Commercial Buildings Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Technician to join our expanding team.

The main location for this role will be the Southwest of England though there may be occasional requirements to work further afield.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 control regimes
• Carry out water sampling for laboratory analysis
• Perform shower cleans and disinfections
• Servicing of thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs)
• Assist with clean and disinfection of cold water storage tanks
• Inspect and survey CWSTs and water heaters

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent timekeeping
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2
• Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
• A keenness to progress and take on additional training
• Be able to pass an enhanced DBS

Working for us means:

• The salary is between 26000 & 35000 per year depending on your professional experience
• Overtime - Monday to Saturday at 1.5 Sunday at 2
• Holidays - 25 days 8 statutory days
• Company Van & Fuel Card
• Probationary Period 6 months
• Pension Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice
• Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation
• Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment
• Notice 1 week during probation increasing to 1 month thereafter
