Job Description

Company: Confidential - Automated Warehouse Logistics/Installation Services

*This position is remote with required travel nationally as needed*

About the Role:

The Account Manager is responsible for generating the sales of installation services for solutions such as Good-to-Person Solutions Conveyor and Sortation Electrical ASRS Racking Autonomous Robotic Systems etc. This role involves identifying customer needs providing product and service recommendations preparing quotes and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:

  • Identify and target potential customers through various channels (e.g. cold calling networking referrals).
  • Provide detailed and accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Manage customer accounts and update CRM software with relevant information.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company s installation services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends competitors and emerging technologies.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g. marketing customer service) to support sales efforts and resolve any issues.
  • Participate in sales meetings training programs and other company events.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare and process sales contracts and documentation.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and performance metrics.
  • Manage schedules appointments and customer follow-ups efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor s degree in business sales or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales in a related industry.
  • Experience and knowledge with MHE installation services strongly preferred.
  • Experience and knowldege specific to racking installation strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
