Interventional Rad Tech (Permanent Role)
Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 8 hr Days 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Fort Worth TX. This permanent position offers full-time hours and an opportunity to work in a collaborative patient-focused environment. Candidates with a strong background in radiologic technology will be cross-trained into Interventional Radiology (IR) if not already certified.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist physicians during interventional and diagnostic radiologic procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure accurate imaging and positioning of patients.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and support staff.
Required:
- ARRT Radiography Certification (ARRT-R).
- Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Must Obtain Within 2 Years of Hire:
- Certification in one of the following:
- ARRT-CI (Cardiac-Interventional Radiography)
- ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)
- ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiography)
Cross-training provided for candidates meeting core requirements who are not yet certified in IR.
