Job Summary

Job Purpose/Summary:

SAP PP - Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage SAP PP project activities including full-cycle implementations rollouts and support engagements

Conduct business workshops for requirement gathering solution design and blueprinting Realization UAT Go-Live Hypercare & Support

Configure and optimize SAP PP processes to align with business goals covering discrete and REM manufacturing

Provide expert-level support and resolve complex issues using tools like ServiceNow

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM SD QM WM etc.)

Drive test planning execution defect management and data migration activities

Prepare detailed functional specifications and guide ABAP teams through development and testing

Utilize CHARMs for change management and ensure adherence to project governance

Deliver user training sessions and provide ongoing functional support

Stay current with SAP innovations especially in S/4HANA and Fiori and apply best practices

Support and enhance QM processes including inspection lots notifications MICs sampling procedures and stability studies

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Key Performance Indicators:

Successful delivery of complex SAP PP implementations and rollouts

High-quality resolution of support tickets within SLA timelines

Accuracy and completeness of functional specifications and documentation

Effective collaboration with ABAP business stakeholders and third-party teams

Proactive identification and resolution of process gaps and system issues

High user satisfaction and adoption of SAP PP and QM functionalities

Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end project deliverables

Qualificaton:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred

Functional Skills/Competencies:

E2E implementation experience.

Deep expertise in SAP PP processes (Discrete & REM)

Expertise in conducting business workshops AS-IS TO-BE designing & mapping solutions realization cut-over management Go-Live Hypercare & Support

Proven experience in SAP PP configurations enhancements and custom developments

Strong knowledge of SAP PP master data MRP confirmations printing and reporting

Experience with MES integration and third-party system interfaces

Proficient in QM processes: inspection lots notifications result recording MICs sampling and stability studies

Hands-on experience with ECC S/4HANA and Fiori applications

Familiarity with CHARMs and ITSM tools like ServiceNow
