Job Summary
Data Warehouse Sr Business Analyst
Location: Springfield IL - Remote
Duration: Long Term
Telecommute (with occasional travel 4 times in a year to Springfield IL)
Note: 12 Years of experience who are local or nearby states with healthcare state client experience Medicaid CHIP CMS PERM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze healthcare-related data to support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL and other BI tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
- Perform data profiling and validation to identify data anomalies.
- Document data processes and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide regular project updates to customers and maintain strong communication.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical training as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of healthcare business analysis experience supporting business initiatives through data analysis writing business requirements and user acceptance testing of various systems
- 5 years of SQL development including performance tuning.
- 3 years of experience working with State Medicaid and CHIP agencies or equivalent healthcare payer
- Basic understanding of CMS reporting requirements for Medicaid
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in IT Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or a related STEM field.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong team collaboration and adaptability.
