Job Summary

Job Title: JIRA Developer / Architect (W2 Position)

Location: Dearborn MI (Hybrid )

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated JIRA Developer/Architect to design build and configure applications that optimize business processes and meet application requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JIRA administration customization automation and integration with other enterprise tools while serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Atlassian tools. productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the SME for Atlassian tools including JIRA JSM JWM and Confluence.

Design build and customize JIRA workflows dashboards and automation workflows to support business processes.

Configure and maintain permission schemes add-ons plugins and modules to expand Atlassian stack capabilities.

Lead timely and cost-effective implementation of JIRA solutions.

Perform JIRA performance tuning database optimization and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and scalability.

Integrate JIRA with other enterprise tools and maintain cross-platform compatibility.

Collaborate with stakeholders architects and engineers to define strategies roadmaps and technical solutions.

Provide guidance and best practices for Agile adoption product management and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience:

8 years of hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA JSM JWM Confluence) including configuration and customization.

Proven expertise in workflow design automation add-ons plugins dashboards and modules.

Strong experience in JIRA performance tuning database optimization and troubleshooting.

Experience with JIRA analytics is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

3 years of software development experience with Java and web-based technologies (XML JSON).

Proficiency in JavaScript JSP SQL Python and related programming languages.

5 years of Agile software development experience.

5 years of Product Management experience (strategy roadmaps execution).

Strong ability to translate complex problems into actionable solutions in dynamic environments.

Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
