Position Overview
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Third-Party Contracts Payment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the execution and management of digital payment-related agreements. This role provides both business and technology-informed guidance to ensure efficient contract execution with Payment Services Providers (PSPs) minimizing reliance on technical delivery teams.
This position supports non-competitively bid third-party contracts and requires strong expertise in digital payments vendor coordination and contract analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for third-party digital payment contracts and Payment Services Providers (PSPs).
- Support and coordinate the procurement negotiation execution and readiness of multiple payment-related agreements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries providing informed guidance to legal procurement and internal stakeholders.
- Review analyze and validate contract language related to:
- Payment processing and settlement
- Refunds and chargebacks
- Network tokenization
- Security and fraud prevention
- Operational and vendor responsibilities
- Coordinate execution activities across vendors legal counsel procurement teams and internal business and technology stakeholders.
- Track contract status risks dependencies and timelines across all assigned vendors.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports outlining progress risks open items and next steps.
- Ensure all contract activities align with organizational standards policies and governance requirements.
- Provide independent responses to business operational and technology-related contract questions.
- Fully document all work products including functional and technical documentation diagrams test plans scripts impact analyses and lessons learned following required templates and standards.
- Participate in enterprise system-related project activities as required.
- Utilize approved software tools to perform job duties.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in digital payments contract management or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of payment services vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple agreements and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements related to payment services and third-party contracts.
- Excellent communication coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Payment Services Providers (PSPs).
- Knowledge of digital payment technologies and industry standards.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise business solutions including SAP-related projects.
- Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams Word Excel PowerPoint) and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business Management Information Systems or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered.
