Job description:
A high-standard private household in Paris is seeking a full-time permanent Gouvernante (Housekeeper) to maintain the cleanliness organization and presentation of the residence in the 8th arrondissement in Paris.
The successful candidate will be responsible for high-level cleaning duties including vacuuming dusting polishing floor maintenance and caring for delicate surfaces such as marble silverware fine fabrics wood and glass. Laundry and linen care are required including changing and refreshing bed linens.
They will manage household supplies anticipate stock needs and report replenishment requirements to the general housekeeper or household manager. The role also includes collaborating with a team of 2 other housekeepers and the chef and assisting in meal and beverage service when necessary.
Discretion integrity and complete confidentiality are essential in this role as the housekeeper may be exposed to sensitive information about the family and their guests. The ideal candidate will be professional respectful and capable of working autonomously while upholding the highest standards of household service.
Security awareness and immediate reporting of any concerns are required along with a strong commitment to maintaining the familys privacy and safety.
