Location: Newburyport Massachusetts 01950
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM 11:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Weekly Pay: $2448 $2592 (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract assignment in Newburyport MA. This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse capable of working in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform rapid patient assessments triage and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Accurately and promptly document patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions
Educate and support patients and families during emergency care
Comply with hospital policies procedures and safety standards
Engage in ongoing education and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
License: Active Massachusetts RN License
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
Certifications (AHA-approved):
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
