Job Description
SQL Database Admin
- Design create maintain and optimize SQL Server databases ensuring stability and performance.
- Write debug and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures functions and triggers.
- Implement and manage robust backup and restore strategies for data protection and recovery.
- Enforce SQL Server security best practices including managing roles permissions and encryption.
- Optimize queries maintain indexes review execution plans and troubleshoot database performance bottlenecks.
- Design and maintain efficient database schemas ensuring normalization and effective partitioning.
- Manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as clustering replication log shipping and Always On Availability Groups.
- Develop deploy and troubleshoot ETL processes for data import/export using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
