Job Description: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerks to join our busy team in Somerset NJ. This is an in-office position with flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday totaling 40 hours per week. Remote work is not available for this role.
The successful candidates will have extensive experience with ERP systems (such as PeopleSoft) and thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and data entry skills are essential as training will be fast-paced and candidates are expected to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.
Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities verifying federal ID numbers scheduling and preparing checks resolving purchase order contract invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos and issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; prepare checks as needed.
Protect the organizations value by keeping information confidential and continuously seeking to improve the payment process.
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Process customer credits.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g. PeopleSoft).
- High-volume data entry in a fast-paced setting.
