Job Summary: Equipment & Tool Engineer 2
- Develop equipment and tooling concepts to support production systems.
- Evaluate project and program requirements to create engineering solutions.
- Ensure equipment and tooling meet safety regulatory ergonomic and reliability standards.
- Compile and analyze technical data to assess impacts on product design and production rates.
- Validate performance milestones and maintain configuration control for tools and equipment.
- Plan and prepare for production readiness preventive maintenance and spare parts management.
- Develop and implement solutions for moderately complex engineering challenges.
- Maintain hardware software and documentation configuration.
- Provide training to production and maintenance staff.
- Support studies and processes for asset disposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with NASA and other relevant safety standards.
