Responsibilities:
- First-tier of support for office users and production needs responding to general IT requests.
- Fixing hardware software and networking issues.
- Primary support line for production line equipment (IT side).
- Ensuring all systems are operational and backed up.
- Document changes within the layout.
- Excellent customer support orient.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
- Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
- Follow-up and update customer status and information.
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an advantage.
- Great communication skills a team player.
- Great troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and Windows OSs; Linux an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of LAN topologies.
- Ability to project management.
- Knowledge of Backup software Acronis/ Commvault or other backup software.
- Basic knowledge of networking: Cisco switches and Fortigate firewalls.
