Job Type: Onsite (Based out of Austin TX with remote/hybrid/onsite option within the US)
Job Summary:
- The Benefits Administrator will oversee the administration and compliance of U.S. financial benefit programs including 401(k) deferred compensation and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
- This role serves as a liaison between employees and vendors provides guidance on benefit eligibility and coverage and supports retirement plan compliance and documentation.
- The position requires strong attention to detail vendor management and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain defined contribution plans (401(k) deferred compensation HSA).
- Oversee plan funding and ensure adherence to internal governance processes.
- Support retirement program enhancements and manage complex or escalated retirement issues.
- Assist with retirement compliance activities including:
- Annual ERISA plan audits
- Government disclosures and filings
- Summary Plan Descriptions
- Non-discrimination testing
- Collaborate with internal teams (HR Finance Payroll HRIS) and external service providers.
- Maintain online resources and documentation related to retirement savings plans.
- Provide support for M&A activity as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 4 years of experience in benefits administration specifically with retirement plans.
- Familiarity with retirement program regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Fidelity and ADP platforms (Fidelity is the highest priority).
- CEBS or SHRM certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Ability to plan prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Collaborative team environment but this role operates independently and closely with the hiring manager.
- Fast-paced during biweekly plan funding cycles.
