Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer
Project Duration: 6 months extension
Location: Columbus OH (hybrid)
Experience: 6 years preferred
Job Description:
- Design build and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake for efficient data storage and processing.
- Write and maintain SQL scripts for data automation transformation and integration.
- Implement data models for structured and unstructured data optimizing for performance and scalability stored procedure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and analysts to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to ensure the integrity and consistency of data.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering machine learning and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to best practices in data infrastructure and automation.
Required Skills:
- Data Modeling: Star Schema Snowflake Schema Slowly changing dimension type 1 & 2 Transactional and Analytical modelling tool
- SQL: Strong SQL skills for data extraction transformation and analysis specializing into Oracle database and Snowflake Cloud
- PL/SQL: Experience into Oracle database and Snowflake Cloud
- Snowflake: Strong experience in data warehousing and data modeling using Snowflake.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and cloud platforms (theyre currently using Azure)
Nice to have:
- Azure data factory
- Databricks
