MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that financial transactions are recorded correctly in order for accurate and complete financial report compilation
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Compile and process journals
- Verify correctness of invoices and submit for payment.
- Reconcile control accounts
- Compile and distribute monthly reports
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- BCom degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 3 year relevant work experience in a corporate financial department
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Financial acumen (monthly close end processes monthly reporting)
- Accounting transactions and the ability to apply these principles
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
