You will maintain separate W-2 employment relationships with each organization and will receive individual payroll compensation from each entity based on the time worked and services provided for their respective programs. This means you will be an official employee of each company with hours responsibilities and compliance obligations tracked separately for each.


This role is structured as a 40-hour per week position with time allocated to each organization. While day-to-day supervision and scheduling will be coordinated centrally to support integrated care each employer will manage its own onboarding HR and compliance processes in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

While each assignment is classified as part-time under its respective entity the combined schedule constitutes a full-time position across the organization network.


WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. With the exception of the weekly meetings most hours should not overlap those of the Operations Manager 5. (on-call availability required for after-hours emergencies and manager coverage)Facility operations staff support regulatory compliance and direct oversight of residential services in the absence of the Facility Director

COMPENSATION: Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience expertise verified credentials and available company budget.

ANTICIPATED TRAVEL: Regular travel between program sites within Maryland Washington D.C. and Virginia. 50% of the time. No additional compensation for travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly walk stand or stoop; occasionally lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and regularly drive a motor vehicle.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Community-based and facility-based work environments
  • High interaction with residents staff external providers and emergency personnel
  • Must be available to respond to emergencies including after-hours coverage when delegated


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct a shift change meeting daily with the oncoming Operations Supervisor
  • Conduct a shift change meeting daily with the off going Special Police Officer
  • Ensure all staff for the 24/7 coverage sites are on duty as scheduled at the beginning of your shift and take necessary action if not
  • Participate in finance meeting once weekly
  • Participate in registered nurse collaboration meeting once weekly
  • Participate in meeting with Chief Operations Officer once weekly to report on facility readiness facility compliance assistance needed to perform your duties
  • Participate in daily operation meetings collaborate with maintenance team during these times

CORPORATE SUPPORTIVE HOUSING OPERATIONS FOCUSED COMPLIANCE OFFICER DUTIES:


Overview:

The Corporate Compliance Officer will possess the skills and experience necessary to identify potential issues within Supportive Housing Operations. The Compliance Officer is responsible for developing implementing and monitoring the programs policies and practices that ensure compliance with federal state local and accreditation standards.

The Compliance Officer is expected to remain up to date on laws and regulations that may affect the organizations policies and procedures. This position requires objectivity independence from other agency departments strong attention to detail and familiarity with investigative protocols and formal reporting practices.


Accountability:

The Corporate Compliance Officer shall be accountable to the CEO and/or Board of Directors.

Duties:

The chief responsibilities of the Compliance Officer include planning implementing and monitoring the Corporate Compliance Program. This position is also responsible for coordinating internal and external compliance audit activities and ensuring consistent communication of expectations and results.


The Corporate Compliance Officer will:

  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Conduct corporate compliance risk assessments
  • Report regularly to the CEO and/or Board of Directors on compliance program progress and assist with developing improvement plans
  • Periodically revise and update the Compliance Program as needed
  • Review and evaluate Standards of Conduct Statements
  • Develop and implement a Compliance Training Plan for all staff
  • Assist the CEO with internal compliance review and monitoring activities
  • Investigate complaints and coordinate appropriate action plans with affected departments
  • Develop policies and practices that encourage staff to report suspected fraud or impropriety without fear of retaliation
  • Clearly communicate the objectives of the Compliance Program and track accomplishments
  • Access and review records related to compliance monitoring activities and document findings
  • Maintain a communication log for compliance-related inquiries and reports
  • Compile reports of calls received investigations conducted findings made recommendations issued actions taken and progress achieved
  • Establish and communicate available reporting procedures and modes (e.g. email online reporting tools voice mail suggestion box)
  • Conduct periodic interviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze program and service utilization patterns for irregularities
  • Conduct unannounced mock surveys audits inspections and investigations to assess staff readiness and identify areas for corrective action
  • Reevaluate previously identified deficiencies to confirm implementation of improvements
  • Present written compliance evaluations and reports to the Compliance Committee CEO and/or Board of Directors at least annually
