The pay range of this position is $24-$28/hr. This position will be on 1st shit and can be filled as a 5 (8s) or a 4 (10s) role.

Responsibilities:

Perform all job requirements according to procedures as outlined in the VOITH Quality Manual Company Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete large and small assemblies working from prints and bills of material.
Optimize assembly process in the daily tasks.
Proficient at use of assembly hand tools drills taps grinders band saws hydraulic presses etc. (all tools are provided).
Safely operate forklifts scissors and boom lifts overhead cranes.
All other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

Perform operations to disassemble inspect and assemble paper machine rotational equipment following proper bearing handling assembly fixtures and power type bench tools. Ability to recognize defective parts and may involve unit testing or similar operations. Perform assembly work subject to process inspections.

Possess good mechanical aptitude.
Two (2) year of previous mechanical assembly experience preferred but not necessary.
Must know how to read blueprints.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Vocational School graduate in machine shop practices or equivalent.

Addition skills that would be a plus:

Optical alignments
TIG/MIG welding
SAP experience
