The position
The Accounting and Tax Manager is expected to lead our financial compliance tax reporting and internal control processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial integrity and compliance with both local and corporate standardswhile maintaining a strong internal control environment and keeping the House in Order at all times.

Other role expectations are as follows but is not limited to:

  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports in full compliance with Philippine tax regulations local statutory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Lead statutory reporting month-end closing activities and maintain internal controls while fostering continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular internal control checks and ensure readiness for audits while collaborating with internal teams and external partners like BIR and tax consultants.
  • Participate in local and regional finance projects developing tax strategies and driving process improvements for optimization.
  • Oversee local financial and tax audits and enhance the efficiency of offshored accounting processes managed by Global Shared Services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or tax preferably in a multinational or regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations statutory reporting and internal control frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SAP Excel and other financial tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

About Company

You will be part of the Gulf Cluster sales team based in Qatar. You will report to the Country Sales Manager. The local team consists of approx 10 employees, and has highly-engaged and experienced members that are looking for a new teammember.
